CONFIRMATION...

One of my close friends back in high school, Chairmaine aka Amaine texted me Monday last week. By the way, Charmaine used to work before in Channel 7 but now she's currently in Canada.

Ayways, she asked me to be a Ninong (for the second time around) to my inaanak Robee on his Confirmation. Of course I said yes. Along with me were Lesley, Ambic and LK.

It was past 3pm when the ceremony started. Done at Holy Spirit Church in Malolos. I came from work that day so I was feeling soooooo sleepy so what I did, I was like half-asleep and half-awake while the priest was doing his thing.

After the Confrimation we headed at KFC for a quick merienda then to Amaine's house in a subdivision owned by Villar.
Amaine said that we should take a picture of the house coz she haven't seen it. She also mentioned that she'll be home on the latter part of July and plans to celebrate her birthday here. Yehey! I get to see her again.

God, how many godchildren do I have now?

Hehehe

OUR NICHE...

Seems like ages since the last time we get together for a night of almost endless inuman session. I'm talking about my colleagues from Rated K.

I was sitting in my editing for Rated K when Iriz called me up and asking me to come over at Ignazia Bar. I said that I will as soon as I'm done with my work. When I came, Ryan, Ate Bless, Iriz, Liezel were already there.

After finishing some buckets of beers, Paul came and three more persons will follow namely Kulet, Ewa and Vicky. We told them to just go to Niche, our niche after work.

I was asked by the group to jam with the band. And they wanted me to sing my signature songs from Evanescence...so I sang My Immortal. Good thing I hit the high notes. Ehem Ehem.

It was getting kinda late. Around 3am, I bid them goodbye and went home for I have a very very early shoot that morning.

A night of fun, drink and bonding again!

TOTALLY!

TRANSITION

Being in your mid-20's makes you think a lot of things. Your family, friends, career, romance etc. And these things are the factors for me that somehow transforms you to a NEW PERSON as you mature.

CHANGE IS A CONSTANT THING. You have to live with it and EMBRACE IT.

Last night, I thought that I should embrace it NOW!

Of course I'M STILL THE OLD INZATIABLE AKA JEROME C. DELA CRUZ that you know. But I HAVE TO ADMIT, SOME THINGS ALSO CHANGED WITHIN ME.

BRAVER...I've always been brave but now even more. Been through a lot of shits in my life involving friends, family and even my past relationships, and they taught me one hell of a lesson....and that is to always stand up and never give up. There maybe times of defeat, but hey at least I GAVE A GOOD FIGHT!

FASTER, at this point of time there's no need for us to get left behind. A moment, an opportunity only happens once or maybe twice and if there'll be a third time you're lucky so might as well GRAB IT!

WISER...we're not getting any younger. We age and so I think it is but normal that WE SHOULD AGE WISELY. We live and we learn.

STRONGER...as you hurt, you tend to be numb and prone to pain and for me it's a good thing. YOU GET TOUGHER! lol...

Braver, Faster, Wiser and Stronger...that's me NOW!

WEIRD BUT CUTE

Last Sunday night, after watching Rated K I went out of our house to smoke. When I looked up at the sky, I saw something weird yet fascinating.

For the first time, I saw the moon in it's crescent form and a tiny star or a planet sitting on top of it.

Because I was too fascinated, I immediately texted my friends and colleagues to tell them about it.

Lovely...

MEET RG...

We've been going out for two straight days now. The recent was yesterday. I already introduced RG in my INI-MINI-MAYNI-MO post.

He's RG Pondevida, a 20 year old guy from Cubao. He's an incoming 3rd year college student taking up Mass Communications.

Last May 12, we shared some beers and cocktails at Triad Bar along Sgt. Esguerra.

Yesterday, we went to Trinoma and settled at Jack's Loft. We had some Ham and Cheese Panini and Fishbowl Iced Tea. Afterwhich, we did some strolling in the mall. I asked if we can grab some drinks in the same bar we went to, he said yes but instead he suggested that we do it at home, our house in Bulacan.

And so we did. We indulged ourselves to a bottle of The Bar. And the rest is history. :)

We parted ways just this morning and until now still texting.

I asked him one thing, that how long are we gonna be exclusively dating, he just said in time...

AKO ANG SIMULA: HALALAN 2010 COVERAGE

As part of the News and Current Affairs Group of ABSCBN, we are all required to do our share for the Halalan 2010 coverage.

I was assigned to get feedbacks, reports fro BOTO MO PATROLLERS from all over the country.

...

DAY 1

My duty starts at 12midnight come May 10, 2010 and I have to sit there front od the PC for the next 12 hours retreiving text messges.

I salute those people working in Call Centers. Going to work that time is not a joke not to mention the fact that, that time is the time wherein everybody should be enjoying or sleeping rather and not working.

After my shift, I went home to vote and afterwhich slept for like 7 hours.

...

DAY 2

I kinda get used to it. But don't get me wrong. Hehehe.

Maybe because I slept, I was up all night. Of course, coffee was such a big help for us.

I saw Yanyan when we went out for a smoke and posed in front of the camera.

And then we're free. Happy that in my own little way, I was able to contribute something.

Likey!

I VOTE!

The day has finally come, May 10, 2010...the day of the election wherein millions of Filipino people including me went out to cast their votes for the National and Local election.

Coming from my first day of duty for ABSCBN's Halalan 2010, I arrived in Bulacan come past 2pm and hurriedly straight to the school where I was registered to vote.

Too bad my phone's battery gdot drained. No pictures of me as I cast my votes. Hay.

Anyways, here's the people who I voted for.

Gibo for President. He's smart, sexy and hot!

Mar Roxas for my VP. I was really for Binay, but I shaded Roxas' name if weren't for Korina.

Let me share with you some of the senators I voted...
Rissa Hontiveros...I so heart her jingle and the way she gets jiggy with it.

Ruffy Biazon, I met him personally two years ago. Such a nice person.

Acosta and Roco, my mom is a teacher so that makes me an advocate of education.

Bong Bong Marcos, he's cute.

Liza Masa, for women empowerment.

Pia Cayetano, so graceful. Not your typical Trapo.

Adel Tamano, god he's so fucking good-looking. Aside from that, I really wanted to have someone to represent the Muslim community in the Senate.

Tito Sotto, a huge fan since I was a child because of Eat Bulaga.

Lastly, Miriam Defensor-Santiago, such a character. Senate will not be comple without her presence.

There you go. That's how me Inzatiable casted my vote last May 10. Hope, whoever wins may do something good for the next six years...
