SOMETHING WENT UP!

It was another typical Wednesday for me but instead of coming in at work at 10am, I was already sipping a cup of coffee and puffing a cigarette at 8:30am. Well, I have a shoot then at Manila Doctors Hospital together with my Salamat Dok's partner in crime Mami O.

When we got to Manila Doctors, we started Mami O's shoots first. Afterwhich it was my turn to interview their resident Endocrinologist. Poor me, we have to wait until the doctor finishes his patients. One patient came after the other.

Then I fell asleep.

Zzzzzzzzzzzz...........

When I woke up, it was about 1pm. I saw Mami O standing from a chair after having her BP read. I asked the nurse humbly if she can also take my BP which she instantly said yes.

After like a minute...she said that my BP is 150 over 100. Even if I'm working in Salamat Dok, I'm not really good about medical terms, conditions specially when it sounds too technical.
The nurse told me that I'm HIGHBLOOD.

WHAT THE FUCK! HOW CAN THAT BE?! I MEAN, I'M ONLY 26...WAIT, NO, I'M A FAB 26 (LOL) AND HOW CAN I BE HIGHBLOOD?!?

That happened last week, and now while doing this blog I'm in Calasiao, Pangasinan for another out of town Rated K coverage.

Earlier after having dinner, I think my BP shoot up again because of.......GRRRR! Just by thinking bout him and the way how he do things at work makes me feel so irritated, fucking irritated!

So, as for me...all I have to do is control my emotions, don't let him gets in my way and try to be so oblivious about everything that can and might stress me.
So please...

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Watching movies is really one of my favorite thing to do to relax specially on a weekend or if there are no good stuffs to watch on TV.

Yesterday, after my shoot at Manila Doctors Hospital in Manila... I asked my crew in Salamat Dok if we can have a quick stop in Quiapo to buy some (pirated) dvd's. Good thing they said yes.

So, as soon as I stepped out of the crewcab...I immediately made my way to my favorite dvd stand to find some good movies.

And after like 15 minutes...I have three dvd's in my hands. I grabbed Shutter Island, and one movie I forgot what the title is and Valentine's Day.

So when I got home last night, because of my eagerness to see Valentine's Day and to destress myself from a tiring day of work...I headed straight to the couch and started the movie watching.
This is the second movie I saw who have an ALL STAR CAST. The treatment of the movie is closely similar to Jologs (Star Cinema) wherein every characters in the movie are all connected one way or another. The plot, of course happened during Vday. I can't help but to be touched and cry when Julia Roberts finally see her son. On the other hand, I was enticed when the Football Star player confessed that he's gay.

The conflicts of each couples are so simple to understand. So close to what is really happening in real life.

I was done watching it at 1am. Afterwhich, I felt this feeling of bliss and hope. That we should never give up on love and that we are all equal in love. That we should always believe in love and that love really conquers all and never grows old.

DECADE AFTER...

If you guys can only see me while doing this blog, you'd probably wonder why I can't get my smile off my face. I tried but I really can't.

Okay, last night while talking to my friend Dai (thanks to Sun Cellular's Call and TExt Unlimited Service) she mentioned about Regil and that he is on FB. "HA?! SI REGIL?!" are the words that came out from my mouth when I heard his name.

(Music pls...something nostalgic...lol)

Regil Joseph Martinez is his complete name aka Regil or "Tots" as our classmates call him. He's my first crush, my first love?! Hahaha.

If I'm not mistaken, it was about 10 years ago since I last saw him. We never really had the chance to share a ride going to school or going home. I just know that he's taking up Med and that he's studying in UP Manila.

(Back to present time)

Anyways, when Dai told me that he's on FB i immediately asked her what name is he using and after a few minutes....his picture flashed in front of me.

What's my reaction?! Well, not being on his side but mind you...he still got the looks. The pictures were not that of a good quality but you can easily tell that he's really goodlooking. Hahaha. Oh my god, do I sound like I still have a crush on him? Answer is...NO!

I explained to Dai that my reaction (including the undeniable smile) is just plain amazement...that after soooooooooo many years I get to see him again even if I just saw his pics.

Question is, will he add me up on FB or not?

RUNNING AROUND IN CIRCLES...

A dinner date at Racks in Ortigas last Wednesday was all it take for me to cease the connection I have with Joey (the guy from Naga whom I met in my recent trip to Camsur)

Maybe Ate Gigi was right...that I was just attracted to the new feeling that I am feeling with him. It's what they call euphoria I guess. Though at the back of my mind, I can't help but to think what might happen if I had the courage to lay down all my cards to him. That I like him.

On the otherside, maybe it won't really work between the two of us. He's from Naga and I'm in Quezon City. A long distance relationship in which I've already been through. And believe me, this kind of intimacy always ends up on a sad note.

I was talking to my dear friend Ian last night, saying some sentiments. That I'm tired of being back in the dating scene. The idea of meeting countless men only to find the perfect one is really killing me.

Now, I'm still out here in the battlefield of love...searching and waiting.

CAMSUR: TAKE 2

The pictures that you will see in this entry are courtesy of Ate Gigi. She used to be part of Rated K and she was our companion during our coverage in Camsur. Thanks, thanks!

The photos above were taken while we're on the boat going to Gota Beach in Caramoan.

The above pictures were shot when we were on a speedboat ride circling around the islands of Caramoan.

This was shot while I was doing the interview with the Executive Assistant of the Governor's Office.

A PARTY FOR MAEL...

This is long due entry.

Last February 27, my friend Mael (Zelda's hubby) celebrated his 27th birthday. It was sort of a "first" for Mael, having some guests attending that night.

It was held in their house at Heritage in Marilao. I arrived past 2pm together with Mami O and our OJT from Salamat Dok Cecille. Mami O prepared some mini pizzas.

Around 7pm, the guests (mostly from Mael's old company) started arriving.

The party was so small yet intimate.

Happy birthday again Mael.

MEET JOEY...

It's a good feeling to know someone new everytime I go out of town for my shoots in Rated K.

My recent coverage, this time in Camsur gave me the chance to meet Joey.

When I arrived at 8am on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at CWC...I immediately texted him and informed him that I'm already in CWC. Apparently, there was no reply from him.

After a tiring day because of the long trip and shoot, around 9pm if my memory serves me well...my phone rang and to my surprise, it's him calling. So i answered it and he asked for my name and then eventually it led to almost one and a half hour of phone conversation.

We talked about almost everything (well, not really..hehehe) We talked about his ex, my ex, his likes, my likes, my dislikes, his dislikes etc...

The phone conversations didn't end there. It continued the day after while I'm having breakfast, and even while I'm on a shoot.

I told him that we might go to Naga to grab some drinks and experience the city. Our team went to The Tent along Magsaysay Avenue and after waiting for not that long, he showed up. I excused myself from my group and at last we finally met.

I ordered Wengweng (their wengweng is sooooooo strong here) and he had gilbeys Premium Light. We talked again for hours, this time face to face. But then, he had to leave coz he still have to wake up early the next day.

Then came Thursday, not much of phone calls were made that day...because I didn't have a signal in Caramoan and that he's also quite busy. Though I'm pretty sure that we'd see each other again that night coz they have this function at CWC. And so we did. I introduced him to my writer Stan and Ate Gigi.

We're supposed to talked right after their activity but because he was too tired then, he told me that he'll go home and he'll just call me. And so he did.

Then came Friday, and I have to go back to Manila. I said my goodbye to him through a text message and even sent him another one in a Bikol dialect...

This is what I sent him:

"SAYANG, TULANG ALDAW LANG AKO DIGDI SA CWC...KUNG PWEDE LANG AKO MAGPAWALAT TANO TA DAI...KAPIHAN LANG TALAGA EI."

Honestly, I really wanted to stay...first to enjoy Camsur to the fullest, second to get to know Joey more.

However, he told me that he'll fly to Manila tomorrow, March 14. I don't want to push things but I'm hoping that we'll meet again.

Let's see...

Camsur...CHECKED!

COME NORTH, CAMSUR!

After 2 years, I found myself back to Bicol region. The first place was Naga and the second one was in Legaspi. This time in Camsur for my rated K shoot.

We left Manila around 1am and I was surprised that we reached CWC at past 8am. We immediately settled in our rooms and slept for two hours so we can regain our strenght because of the long trip.

The accommodations in CWC are surprisingly affordable...like the Cabins where we stayed in, the Cabanas and the Trailers.

At 12noon we decided to get up and have our lunch then we started working.

The story primarily is about Camsur. On how the province rose as the number one tourist destination now and I heard that Camsur already defeated Boracay.

I was surprised to see how beautiful Camsur really is. Saw it's famous tourist spots like Lake Buhi, Mt. Isarog and of course the infamous Caramoan.

They call it the Caramoan Peninsula. It holds a number of beaches like Hunungan, Matukad and Gota where Survivor Israel, France, Bulgaria had their shoots.

No doubt, I will definitely go back to Camsur!
