FRIENDS...THEN AND NOW

THEN...

This is a story of six individuals who met each other during the latter part of their high school days, became acquainted and eventually called themselves "friends"

This is the story of Ryan, Brian, Carina, Zelda and Clarice and yourstruly.

Ryan Montaos aka "Drawing" as we call him. Also the chick boy of the group. Most of the time, he's not available when there's a gathering or just a simple get together. But he always try his best to catch up and show up even if he's like 2 or 3 hours late. Why?! Either he's busy with girls or like what he always say...he's busy with work. Hehehe. Nevertheless, you can't deny the fact that Ryan will always be a dependable friend. He's like the Jack of all trades among the six of us.

Brian Cayanan is the computer wizard. The least talkative among the group, he barely opens his mouth to chit chat. But once he starts talking, you better listen 'coz he might not say it again. You also have to bear the sarcasm by the way he comments on things and issues that's being talked about. He's also the boyfriend of Carina. By the way, Brian's my neighbor but we often see nor talk to each other. I don't know why. It's just like that.




Me, Jerome dela Cruz, who's always out every night partying and drinking and smoking. The most liberated in the group. Without sounding too conceited, I am the most friendly among us six. I can mingle with almost everybody but not really depending if I like the person or not. Despite of my vices, I see to it that I don't influence them for I know that they don't like it. They just have to give in often times. Hehehe. I'm persistent and like what Carina said, I'm aggressive when it comes to life and boys as well.

Time to meet the girls...

Carina Rose Salvador is the eldest among the group. She's the bestfriend of Clarice. Brian's girlfriend. Carina is a very bubbly girl. She always has a smile on her face. A certified daddy's girl. She's always up to date to whatever foreign series that comes out on TV as well as movies. We really have to give it to her. Carina's also a collector of Havaianas slippers.We're really not that close, like I can't recall any bonding moment the two of us had and I don't know why. Maybe because Carina can't go out that easily because of her father. By the way, did I mention that Carina's father is a movie director? Yup, the daughter of Augusto Salvador. If the name doesn't ring a bell, where were you or what are you doing? Try to google it.

Clarice Reyes is the let's say the childish (sorry for the word) among the group. She loves cartoons, I also do. She's the type of friend whom you can ask out anytime and anyday...well that depends if she's in the mood. Hehehe. The bestfriend of Carina. I'm more close to her compared to the latter.







Zelda Garcia Hernandez, the girl who just married our high school classmate, Mael this year in Bataan (See previous entry) The fashionista of the group. Well well well, Zelda's the most flirt among us all (I'm the one next in line, ayan ha! hehehe Joke!) Seriously speaking, she's the friend/sister you can always count on. Her house is always open for all. Among us six, Zelda is my closest. We have a lot in common. Zelda is the type who speaks her mind. Whatever problem you may have, she's always willing to give a helping hand.

NOW...

It's a story of six individuals who rarely see each other and can't hardly remember when was the last time they communicate with one another.

This is the story of Carina and Brian that are still happily together.

This is the story of Clarice with her boyfriend as a new addition to her life.


This is the story of Ryan. That's it. No update.

This is a story of Zelda who is so happy to marry the guy she loves and still communicates with me and I'm proud and happy to say that we're still friends despite of anything.




This is the story of me who still go on with my life. Still sticking with my vices like smoking and drinking. Still searching for that person to share my life and love with. This is me who is still a good friend of Zelda and still trying to juggle time with work, family, friends, myself etc.

I will this little secret to you for always visiting my site and patiently following my blogs...even before Zelda walked down the aisle last September, things aren't going easy on us six. We barely see each other! We hardly communicate to one another.

Well of course Carina still sees Brian and inevitably still communicates with him. Same goes maybe with the hunch that Carina still communicates with Clarice coz they are best of friends.

Honestly speaking, I already gave up on them...Ryan, Brian, Carina and Clarice.

Why?!

Ryan, I just have to admit that he's like that and I can't do anything about it.

Clarice, our issue was long been settled and you already said your sorry and I said mine too. It just saddened me and made me realize that you preffered to chose him instead of me. You know what I mean.

Carina, I remember one time texting her and what did I get?! A "WHO U?" reply. God! I was surprised to know that I'm not in her phonebook.

Brian...he doesn't talk and share, so be it. Same with Carina, he also sent me a "WHO U?" reply. Now, that's what you call two in a row.

Time passes by. And as time goes by, some things and people change. It's part of life. Everything happens for a reason. I was just saddened by the way how the story of this six individuals end.
