UPUAN

When I first heard this song, I told myself that it is a very beautiful song. It was sung by Gloc 9 and Jeazelle (Zelle's Lead Vocalist)

The song mainly narrates how this upuan to some people made them so oblivious about the problems that are happening in the country like hunger and poverty. The melody is so haunting. Nice collaboration of two great artists. Kudos to gloc 9 and Jeazell.

UPUAN
GLOC 9 FEAT. JEAZELLE

Kayo po na naka upo,
Subukan nyo namang tumayo
Baka matanaw, at baka matanaw ninyo
Ang tunay na kalagayan ko
Ganito kasi yan eh...

Verse 1:

Chorus:

Kayo po na naka upo,
Subukan nyo namang tumayo,
Baka matanaw, at baka matanaw ninyo
Ang tunay na kalagayan ko

Verse 2:

Kaya...

Wag kang masyadong halata
Bato-bato sa langit
Ang matamaay wag magalit
O bato-bato bato sa langit
Ang matamaan ay
Wag masyadong halata
Wag kang masyadong halata

Hehey, (Wag kang masyadong halata)
(Wag kang masyadong halata)
Yeah hey...

PATIENTLY WAITING...

Being back in the dating scene after breaking up last May with my ex(Richard So), the elusive boyfriend that I'm looking and waiting for is still nowhere in sight.

Sometimes, I can't help but think if I have lost my touch. But then again, hey, maybe it's not yet time. And maybe, he's still on his way...to me.

Four months of being single doesn't mean I'm not getting my share of fun with boys. Duh! Of course I still know how to have fun and really know how to get it. But eventhough I'm getting what I want, these guys that I met are not connecting with me. Frankly speaking, they just passed by to scratch my back. Hahaha...Well, that's inevitable. But the one million dollar question is when will I meet him?

Patience is a virtue. It's so cliche! Whatever happen to the saying that time is gold?

Oh well, let's just wait and see.

IAN'S BIRTHDAY

It was Ian's birthday and he set up a post birthday celebration at The Legend Villas in Boni, Mandaluyong last August.

I met up Ross (one of my close friend from college, well until now we are still) at Boni 711 then proceeded to the venue.

Ian's been a dear friend and a good rival I must say since our college years. Right Samantha?! Lol.

It was a night of food, drinks, seeing old friends from college and of course partying!

There are also attendees from Ian's home station, Channel 7 as can be seen below...

The attendance from our block in college wasn't that big compared to some of Ian's guest but we made sure that we enjoyed seeing each other again. Maybe we should try doing this more often, right Ross?

SINGAPORE TRIP

My flight was around 130pm last August 3, 2009. My destination, the Lion City. Singapore. I arrived around 5pm. A friend's friend picked us up at the airport and headed straight to her place so we can leave our luggages so we can eat freely.

First destination was Suntec Mall. But I stayed with my highschool friend's pad in Bedok. We went to Merlion Park, Bugis, Chinatown and of course Sentosa.

Singapore is a big Makati that holds a diverse number of people from different races. There's Indian, Pakistani, Bangladesh, Chinese, Malay and of course Filipino. There's also people from the western part of the globe.

I can compare Singapore to Malaysia wherein the only mode of transportations are buses, cabs and MRT. Another thing, Singapore is so strict when it comes to smoking.

The food is great. I love the Pratta, Satay and the Nasi Goreng. There's also a number of good shopping areas especially in Orchard, Bugis and Chinatown and the infamous Mustafa Center in Little India. You just have to bear with the not so nice smell of the place.

I'M JUST NOT SO INTO YOU

Last Sunday, the guy I've been constantly texting for the past two months decided to go for a meet up.

He's from Malolos. A 27 year old Operations Manager of Convergys. He agreed to go over my place in Meycauayan.

He arrived around 8pm with a bottle of Vodka and Brandy. I introduced him to my friend who's also a neighbor.

He's neat, nice, with a good sense of humor. Definitely, I liked him. I wouldn't be texting him if I don't right?!

After drinking, we opted to go to bed to have some time of our own. Hehehe. You know what this means.

So we did it.

Of course we also talked. He asked if I'm willing to start a relationship with him. Maybe because of the alcohol that made me say yes but now I'm taking it back. LOL

I don't know, maybe it's because of how he kiss...or simply I'm just so not into him.

Dude, thanks for the sex...but the idea of "us" as a couple is sooo not a good idea.

There's still a lot of guys out there...Sorry!!!
